The Flood

      During the rainy season, drains canals and rivers are overflown with rain water.River cannot contain amount of water and starts overflowing . Day by day the flood increases and causes damages to houses , lives , roads,bridges even kill anima. In villages, wells and cesspits too get filled with flood water.

There are minor and major floods in Sri Lanka.Even without rivers or canals floods can occur . There are some who enjoy floods. That is those who go here and there boats with joy. People tie a few logs together and float o the water They enjoy the flood while refugees cry for their lost family members of families .Immediately after the flood epidemics  start.Cholera and diarrhoea some of them.
