 Charles Babbage was the first inventor of the computer. He was a British mathematician. Early computer were huge. but the invention of the transistor enabled computers to be made smaller. It is a very useful machine. Modern computer are used in every part of the world. We use them at home and at work, for playing games, running complex machines and even operating satellites in space.
